US dollar closes higher on Taipei forex

Taipei, June 15 (CNA) The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar Friday, shedding NT$0.064 to close at NT$30.002.

Turnover totaled US$1.266 billion during the trading session.

The greenback opened at NT$29.990, and moved between NT$29.969 and NT$30.006 before the close.
