LAGOS, April 30 (Reuters) - Nigeria’s foreign exchange reserves rose 2.9 percent from a month ago to a five year high of $47.36 billion as of April 25, central bank data showed on Monday.
Nigeria’s forex buffer stood at $30.76 billion, up 54 percent from a year ago, but is still far off a peak of $64 billion hit in August 2008. (Reporting by Chijioke Ohuocha Editing by Peter Graff)
